Alpha Caring Empowerment, Inc. (ACE) will award scholarships and book stipends in honor of our brother G. Bernard Brown.

G. Bernard Brown is a December 3, 1965 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Rho Chapter, Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a founding member of Iota Zeta Lambda Chapter, Compton, CA and has dedicated 50 plus years of service to his “dear fraternity.” His loyalty and commitment to “manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind” epitomizes the “Spirit of Fraternity.”

The scholarship was established to assist African-American high school seniors and college students in their pursuit of higher education. The members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Iota Zeta Lambda Chapter are committed to the promotion of academic excellence, civic responsibility, and community awareness. We look for these same tenets in the individuals that are applying for this scholarship.
